Laila’s Gift proudly presents Sunflower Field of Celebrations™—a program built to make life’s big moments shine. Central to this magic is our “Celebration in a Box,” a party experience delivered directly to your doorstep that turns special milestones into joyful adventures.
What’s Inside Each Celebration in a Box:
We’re looking for amazing kids between the ages of 4 to 21 who are neurodivergent, have special needs, or a disability. It’s important that the child you nominate is a resident of one of the 50 United States—sorry, international nominations are currently not accepted.
If you’re not the legal guardian but want to nominate someone special, that’s totally ok! Just know that if your nomination gets selected, we’ll ask you to team up with the family to share the exciting news.

Nomination Criteria:
Once you submityour nomination, please allow us up to 12 weeks for our CelebrationTeam to review it.
If your nominee is selected, our Celebration Team will reach out to you to kick off the planning! If you don’t hear from us after 12 weeks, feel free to submit another nomination—but hold off on nominating the same child more than once within that time frame, as it won’t increase their chances of being selected.

Many children with special needs don’t always get invited to parties or have many friends, which can mean missing out on joyful milestones. For some families, hosting a celebration has felt too difficult, as they’ve wanted to protect their child from the possibility of feeling left out. Laila’s Gift helps to create these celebrations with families so every child can feel honored, included, and surrounded by love, giving families treasured memories they can hold on to forever.
We recognize the strength it takes to be a caregiver, so every Celebration in a Box also includes resources for caregiver self-care and mental well-being. Because you matter, too.
They’re part of the adventure! Along with their goodies in the box, siblings receive a special invitation (RSVP) to a virtual Zigglebee pARTy™, where they can connect with peers and express themselves through art.
Celebrations are more than parties—they are a chance to build memories, to feel seen, to affirm worth. For families navigating challenges, these moments of joy count. Through Sunflower Field of Celebrations™, Laila’s Gift aims to lift spirits, strengthen bonds, and remind every Sunflower Family that their milestones are worthy of celebration.
But the magic doesn’t stop there. Every box also includes pre-stamped Kindness Cards, giving each guest the chance to mail a note of encouragement to friends and family—spreading kindness across the country.
