Research shows that siblings of children with disabilities are at higher risk of experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression, yet they also have remarkable opportunities to grow resilience, empathy, and creativity when given the right support.
That’s why Laila’s Gift has partnered with Zigglebee® to bring Zigglebee pARTies™ to our Sunflower Siblings. These special gatherings are hosted jointly by Laila’s Gift and Zigglebee to give siblings a safe, joyful space to:
Each Zigglebee pARTy™ includes an art activity box filled with all the supplies needed for alive art session with Zigglebee and friends. Sessions are led by an art therapist trained in neurodivergent coaching, ensuring that every sibling feels supported, encouraged, and free to explore their imagination.
But the creativity doesn’t stop there—siblings can display their artwork in the Zigglebee Virtual Art Gallery, a vibrant online showcase where their voices shine. Families can also submit artwork for contests, with opportunities to win prizes and be recognized in community celebrations.
Together, Laila’s Gift and Zigglebee are making sure Sunflower Siblings feel seen, heard,and celebrated—not just as caregivers-in-the-making, but as children with their own dreams, emotions, and stories to tell.
